rustic charming cabins.
We pride ourselves on providing delicious and healthy meals, catering to all gastronomical restrictions.
Surrounded by lush hills, mountains, lakes, and waterfalls, Pacheco and the Intag Valley have more than enough to keep you occupied throughout our natural haven. Other activities like bird watching, fishing, or visiting the local hot baths are available.
Our stone farmhouse has been renovated with locally sourced wood and bamboo and all our furniture is upcycled. We source all our organic produce locally and make our own bread, jams, and dairy products from scratch.
Pacheco is nestled in the Intag Valley, one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet.
In addition to the majestic Intag River, we are surrounded by volcanoes, waterfalls, and hiking trails.
Within walking distance, you can rejuvenate in hot springs, hike through lush landscapes while witnessing delightful wildlife, or visit a nearby coffee farm to learn about the process from start to finish.
The Valley
The Cloud Forest—one of the most beautiful and best-kept secrets in Ecuador—is right outside our doorstep, offering incomparable flora and fauna. Among the animals that can be seen in the area are the brown-faced spider monkey; the Andean, or spectacled, bear; the black-and-chestnut eagle; the puma; the white-faced, or Panamanian, capuchin monkey; the Choco toucan, and Andean catfish.

For bird enthusiasts, you will be able to spot a Plate-billed Mountain Toucan, Grass-green Tanager, Toucan Barbet, and many other brilliant birds that are native to the Intag Valley.

For adventurers, the Intag Valley offers nature galore with waterfall hikes, death-defying giant swings, fishing, and zip lining.
And if culture is your thing, our Bed and Breakfast is just one hour’s drive from culturally rich Otavalo—one of the most visited cultural hot spots in Ecuador—with its famous Ponchos Market, where you can buy colorful indigenous handmade goods.
